Turkiye vehicles sales up 58.7 percent from January 2023 to November 2023

November witnessed a surge in motor vehicle sales, reaching 119,529 units—an increase of 13.7% from October and a notable 38.2% growth compared to the same period last year. Passenger car sales soared by 54.4% year on year, contributing to the industry's overall upward trajectory. The January-November period showcased an impressive 58.7% surge in total motor vehicle sales, underscoring Turkey's increasing prominence in the global automotive market. On the export front, the nation shipped 926,223 units, showcasing a 5.7% YoY increase, with passenger car exports driving a notable 18.1% surge.  Total Motor Vehicle Sales:

· November 2023: 119,529 units (up 13.7% from October, up 38.2% YoY)

· January-November 2023: 1,119,300 units (up 58.7% YoY)


Passenger Car Sales:

· November 2023: 91,424 units (up 54.4% YoY)


Exports:

· January-November 2023: 926,223 units (up 5.7% YoY)

· Passenger car exports: 601,665 units (up 18.1% YoY)

· Small truck exports: 324,558 units (down 11.5% YoY)

· Export Revenues: $32.49 billion (up 14.7% YoY)

· Passenger car export revenues: $9.8 billion (up 23.5% YoY)


Imports:

· November 2023: Total motor vehicle imports 77,164 units (up 18.5% MoM, up 53.6% YoY)

· Passenger car imports: 61,335 units (up 16.9% MoM, up 62.4% YoY)

· January-November 2023: Total motor vehicle imports 710,105 units (up 81.1% YoY)

· Passenger car imports: 565,845 units (up 80.9% YoY)
